I try to paint feelings not objects or places. Colors and shadows and shapes. I'm drawn to houses and structures. Architecture can suggest activity - interior and exterior roles. What's going on inside? Who lives there? What time of day?
I love to paint - the process of placing pigments on a painting surface is relaxing and creatively rewarding. Sharing the results is the final part of that process - the most uncomfortable part. But without sharing the artistic process is diminished. And feedback delivers reward and refinement.
